Beware of Elemy. Worst unethical company ever!!
Our kid (2 yo) is on the ASD spectrum and Elemy provides modern ABA therapy. Therapy was going well and he was showing improvements. Today, 30 minutes before the start of the session we got a message from RBT(therapist) saying she was locked out of her system and can’t come to session unless she could login. Session was supposed to start but BCBA (RBT’s supervisor) was not reachable Case manager was not reachable RBT had not idea what was going on and she was as confused as we were. IT was not reachable from her side. After few hours of calls, we received a message from case manager that we would receive an email at Xpm soon regarding future sessions. We wait.. hours passed. No communication from their end. Case manager did not respond to our communication. Our calendar invites for all future therapy sessions got cancelled without any communication from their end. Still waiting for any communication from Elemy but on their website they removed all the states they were serving except three states. Our state is not in the list. Our anxiety is through the roof. We have no idea what to do now. Our son really liked our therapist. It takes months of wait time to get a decent therapist. I understand business decisions to close but I expect some communication or heads up so we can arrange therapy elsewhere. Zero empathy from elemy. #Elemy #asd #adhd #mentalhealth Not expecting anything to happen from the post. Just wanted to vent my frustration.
Apparently they stopped services in many states overnight and laid off hundreds of employees. Makes zero sense given they had 200 millions in funding and a unicorn.
Maybe you can find your therapist and request to pay her directly...
Heard many horror stories about Elemy. They run a shady operation and don't care about patients. Stay away at all costs.

I'm so sorry you're dealing with this! The news of the Elemy closures has been horrible. I'm a BCBA and my smaller, boutique ABA company provides services in PA. Any chance you're close to Pittsburgh?
This is terrible, we keep getting RBT's and BCBA's saying the same thing, to please stay away from #elemy We are deeply disheartened to hear about the many layoffs happening from the ELEMY fiasco. Can you pay out of pocket until you get it resolved? Might be worth it. Sorry you had this extra stress.
That’s what we have been thinking. Our RBT is out of the job most likely. She hasn’t been communicated yet about her job status. So, if possible we will hire her and pay out of pocket. It’s really stressful.
