Verizon is offering $800 for my 3 year old iPhone 12 Pro Max. Seems too good to pass up even though I don’t really need to upgrade. Are iPhone launch deals normally this good or is this just an anomaly to pump up declining phone sales
If you read the deal carefully, the $800 credit requires a 3 year commitment to Verizon’s most expensive phone plans. That’s why they make this type of offer. And it isn’t new, it was available with IPhone 14 as well.
Really? It requires me to change to highest tier plan? Currently just have the base unlimited @ $65/mo
Ok I looked at it more and you’re right. I’d have to upgrade to the $80/mo or $90/mo plan to get the additional $350 credit. Not worth it
The carriers usually make this deal at launch time. Like Amazon said, it basically locks you into a contract. FWIW T-Mobile is the only one that does 2 year deals still instead of 3. Also, I would consider the Pro since the promo is $1K at all the carriers (I think).

That’s through Apple. If you look the carrier deals are a lot higher.
