yikes, just saw an article today about Blackstone’s hiring and their acceptance rate is 0.3%. Anyone go through their recruitment process??? “This year, Blackstone had 169 first-year analyst positions available and received 62,000 unique applicants from all over the world. This translates to a selection rate of less than 0.3%. That’s all according to Stephen Schwarzman, Blackstone’s cofounder and CEO”
I used to work for PE mega fund similar to blackstone. The key to break as PE analyst is to go to ivy or top business undergrad like stern, haas. It’s not that hard to break into.
Any experience on the hiring process? I have received a recruiter call for a data analyst position

L4 Google -> 45 interviews, 5 offers, AMA
Not surprising if it includes applicants. It would be more interesting to see the acceptance rate of on-site interviews.
