Blackstone is acquiring my company, what should I expect?

I work for Cvent as a SWE and we’re being acquired by Blackstone private equity. Anyone with experience working for a tech company that was acquired by them? What should I expect? Layoffs/pips? Business as usual? So far it’s been pretty chill. Would like more TC but good wlb, decent engineering practices, and I like my team. Not really interested in looking for a new job in this market but been grinding some leetcode just in case. Is it about to start sucking? 105k TC, 1 YOE #tech #pe #privateequity

I worked for a company acquired by BX years ago. Pretty cool for a year or so during the transition, then we brought in a new CEO who was shit, lasted about a year, had some layoffs, and got back on track with new leadership. A lot of talent left though. It worked out ok for me as TC and direct management were good, but it was a tough time, I think all due to growth pressure. So IMHO: Keep your options open. If hiring ramps up in advance of demand, or if you see major leadership shuffles, be wary. That said, your TC is low, but TC ain't everything and it's more than I made with 1 YOE. Good luck.
