If you post the same question on here, reddit, and hackernews you'll probably get three totally different responses For example, if you ask about joining a startup vs faang, hackernews is way more pro startup than here I'd say On the other hand, there's funny things like when someone said dropbox was stupid because people could setup their own ftp server: https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=9224 r/cscareerquestions seems full with pretty bad takes from newgrads So for hackernews, if someone says your app idea is stupid, they might not have any idea what they're talking about. And if someone there tells you google is evil, you probably also shouldn't worry too much about it Are there any equivalents for blind's typical advice? Yes, that’s not surprising that the baboons on this platform have EQ less than 5.
Blind’s bias is towards TC. Even if you had the option between working for FAANG, startup or the cartel, and If the cartel paid the most, Blinders would vote for that. That’s why I hate most of the “help me choose” kind of posts; the OP has already made up their mind but they are just flexing and getting useless help from the brain dead people here.
By cartel, do you mean Apple or Google?
no the sinoloa cartel
Maximize TC or die
