thought you were woke? nope you suck the warm teat of china!!! https://www.cnet.com/news/blizzard-removes-blitzchung-from-hearthstone-grand-masters-after-his-public-support-for-hong-kong-protests/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf
If China’s gonna start banning companies that say anything positive about HK protesters, USA should start banning companies that say anything negative. If our companies have to put up with Chinese bullshit, their companies should have to put up with our bull Shit.
Us and others should ban Confucian institutes and related propaganda outlet.
I don’t think that’ll have legal stands in US though
Blizzard is a company acting in its stakeholders’ best interest. No news here.
Yeah, better be like FB with fake click & view metrics to screw over advertisers and make money, right! No room for ethics at work, right FB?
Do you have the freedom of speech to say that you support 911, stand with terrorist? You do, but you will be disliked by people who think you are ignorant, stupid and lack of judgement. If you can understand this but still don’t understand why people in China don’t like the violence in HK and support for the violence. Then... It’s just double standards.
What a stupid brainwashed comment.
He just followed the latest Chinazi trend which they support terrorist in Twitter. Time to back to your great country.
I have respect for many Chinese friends, but China government sucks.
You cannot compare this to 9/11. What were the demands made at 9/11? Here these are protestor that are turning to violence because of a lack of options. Nothing like 9/11.
It’s a good call. But I do think it’s comparable. Those terrorists are just protesting against the US. They just have no other options. But it’s a way that a gentleman should never choose (hurt innocent people), no exceptions, no excuses. What’s the difference? The only difference is where you stand. Innocent people in US should have more humans rights than innocent people in HK?? No way!
So did the US government force Amazon to fire you yet?
LoL Chinazi logic is awesome.
Wow, what’s your logic then? Come on! Looking forward to seeing it! Exciting! ; )
You are such a brave man. Then as a people has freedom to speak anything, can you share some information and your comments on recent suicide happened in fb and why Yin Yi got fired.
And please not just share it in Blind. As a free man please share ur true thoughts and spread ur sense of justice in fb internal channel or on ur public fb account. Fight for the truth and speak for the dead man.
If u can’t do this. Then you are showing double standard not just to Chinese community but also to Blizzard employees. Then you also a coward/cute cat based on your standard.
What they need is a little.. Tegridy
You don’t know the full story. The Blizzard employees there were being threatened by the government with arrests. The company acted on its employees safety. It’s not fair to blame Blizzards employees, they’re all just doing their job. We all do business with China, and it’s becoming increasingly unsafe to do so. Apple just removed the Taiwan flag emoji to appease China, for example. Blizzard and others need to pull out of doing esports in China, at least until the Taiwan situation stabilizes. Having live events with passionate, young players is putting everyone at risk.
Caving because China was threatening people is even worse.
nonpareil2, did China put a gun on your head? It is all about money. Let us treat it that way.
Context?

This is misleading. He didn’t get banned for supporting Hong Kong. He got banned for voicing political views on a non political platform.
