I have a BS from a top 20 CS university, a perfect 600/600 on the CodeSignal GCA, a 3.6 gpa, relevant work experience, etc. There is a role I'm interested in and would appreciate if you are able to refer me. #Bloomberg #referral #NYC #BloombergLP #softwareengineer
Only can refer top 19 CS with 3.61 GPA and 601/600 CodeSignal
Is it really that bad to ask for a referral on here? It's hard to break into the industry right now as a new graduate, so I'm taking advantage of every opportunity I can, even if it is hoping a friendly person sees a my blind post.
Not bad at all. Don't get discouraged by my comment lol. Think of it as a way to "comment for further reach" with a hint of comedy.
Don’t say things like top 20. People will assume that you went to no name school.
You know the entry level engineering program is currently on (i know for London). During my time, I reached out to a recruiter on LinkedIn and she sent me the application link. You could try that too, targeting entry-level recruiters. But if you are interested in London, i have a link.
Appreciate it but I'm US based. I've applied for that so we'll see what happens.
