Brother beaten severely as a kid. Doesn’t speak to dad at all now.
I’m considering a Data Analyst position as part of BloombergNEF in London. I’m not finding anything about BloombergNEF in my research. Anyone care to share insights on Work to Life Balance and what it’s like working for that part of Bloomberg in London? Specifically how many hours per day do you typically work? I’ve seen 8-6 working hours but that seems fairly atypical and long. Current TC: £50K #london #bloomberg
BNEF is kind of a startup inside of BBG and deals with all renewable energy stuff. Very nice culture, Engineering is regular BBG Eng, but this role could be either Global Data (not good culture) or a data analyst role within the core BNEF research and modelling business (very nice culture). If the team mentions Global Data then I would not recommend it, if it mentions BNEF entirely then I would say go for it.
do you mind sharing your YOE

Updated with a figure. I don’t have Bloomberg TC range for this role as they didn’t provide it yet.
Cheers. IDK about that org, but when speaking to them for SWE they mentioned TC around £120k for senior SWE. They want you in the office at least a couple of times a week.
