Is Bloomberg bonus guaranteed every year? What percentage of the bonus do you get every year? Also are there raises at Bloomberg?
I think I have seen like 98% or sometime when we had a bad year, but I think Mike will made us all whole. Benefits of working at BB - stability, and you get rewarded for your loyalty with some flexibility. For example, giving you a lot of flexibility without cutting pay, when you have a need for flexibility (battling Cancer, taking care of SO, ...). BTW rather than average, we think of it as "Meets Expectations". Since you meet expectations then who not close to ๐ฏ bonus.
Do the majority of people meet expectations?
I'm not at a manager level where I can see exact salary and ranges, but I do know that your rating plays a part in your salarly range. The ratings are a Bell curve, where there are more people in the middle, similar to there are more with average height or average weight or average car or average health, etc. So most Engineers will fall in meets expectations, I would think.

Do you really feel special in your Tesla?
Not guaranteed but very consistently paid at 100% unless there is a severe performance concern and you are being performance managed. Yes there are raises but if you negotiate really well when you join and are making more than your peers with same performance, you could stay near flat for a while until others catchup or your performance moves to next level.
If you preform average will you get the bonus everytime ?
As long as company is doing well yes. For example during the last 5 years, average performance would still get 100-110% If we ever have a terrible year then maybe the bonus pool could be smaller and there wonโt be enough to give everyone 100%.
