Would like to hear from anyone with experience leaving a company after the Bonus performance period but before payout (SAP specific would be even better). When did they make the payout and and what was your %? Bonus plan policy is clearly and specific “upto 100% if you leave after Dec 31”. My manager is a good guy - but always nervous making these moves. T5 / TC: $450k
Your manager could give you 0% if he wanted to. It would be best if you gave notice after the salary/bonus numbers have been finalized. Btw, that’s a very impressive TC for SAP. What is your new TC going to be?
Don’t risk it; wait to give notice until the money is in your account. At my last firm, leaving before payout meant forfeiture.
