Box 2022

Hey all. After doing a part-time internship at GS (while finishing undergrad in CS) I decided it's time for a change. After 4 months of LC preparation I interviewed at Google, Palantir and Amazon for new grad positions but didn't make it past on-sites (was closest at Google). I also applied for an internship in Box and I received an swe intern offer there (probably because it was much easier being internship). If there are any Boxers here - could you tell me what the job is like in terms of teams around the company, overall atmosphere, tech debt, tech stack etc.? What I should potentially pay attention to when considering a full-time offer after 3-month long internship ends? #box #goldmansachs #internship

I recently accepted to join box. Waiting for their background check email etc. The people that interviewed me seemed really nice

Also the thing in my case but that doesn't really say much about company.

Closest at Google breaks the narrative that “hurr durr Amazon so easy” lol I’ve had the same experience fwiw and got further with both Google and Meta than I did with Amazon. I know that doesn’t answer your question at all OP, but just know that getting good jobs in this field can be a bit of a crapshoot due to the acceptance of “false negative” interviewee rejections.

I agree with you. In my case it was also the thing that Amazon's interview was my first ever interview in this format (FAANG) and I kind of shit the bed - I was actually given a task I've seen before on LC but I panicked. Google was a whole different story. They've even encouraged me to re-interview in 6 months if I'm interested because I was told it was really close.
