That's not how the economy works. If you print money, there is inflation; inflation is taxation. Why should everyone else be paying for your student debt? Taxes should be for helping the poor, not the rich.
Because students are the voters for tomorrow and we want voters to be free of burden so they can vote for socialist policies like they want to and not for someone who just promises a good capitalist economy

If a student knows school costs nothing for them, they will not care what it costs. School administrators know this. They will raise prices until the government refuses to pay more. That will be a lot of money under Bernie.
We need to nationalize all schools and college then. That’s how it works in most developed nations. Private colleges and schools sound absurd
If professors and teachers really cared about their students, they'd work for a basic living wage. How much would that bring down edu costs?

But honestly, I personally think Bernie is much more dangerous for the country than any other candidate/person ever could be. Promising free shit to everyone, forgetting that our sky high debt is still rapidly growing. The country would take a beating.

Debt has already been growing unchecked though. With the amount we’ve spent on useless, misdirected wars and tax breaks for bigcorps, we could have at least paid for universal healthcare and had something to show for it

The mint doesn't decide how much "cash" gets printed the Fed does. The Fed can't just go make more money Willy nilly, that will drive up inflation and make our currency worthless.
Education and Healthcare should not be that expensive at the first place especially when you pay so much taxes . but politicians would look what they can take out of your pocket rather than root causing the problems. Anyways with such inequality there’s a risk that US will slide into socialism and become a Venezuela.
Even individuals who serve their country do not get these types of benefits. I was a student with debt and paid it off. You can do the same. Too many damn snowflakes with so much entitlement, makes me sick. Society is fucked and I hope we can develop into a sensible society.
