I am trying to exchange currency before traveling to Europe. Is it best to buy Euro in the US (I believe not) or is it better to do it in Europe’s airport? I don’t have much time for other options.
Open a wise bank account and transfer money to it using Atlantic
You can get it from your bank in US. It would be the cheapest option but might take 1-2 days.
How about just going to a bank there and using your debit card? Even with fees, it might work out equivalent to cash exchanges
Most banks carry euro’s. Just call and ask, then go pick it up same day. Wells Fargo carried Euro’s for me.
Just use Apple Pay. Why bother with cash? What are you trying to optimize?
Also a good option^
Or Google Pay
Just open a multi currency account with Wise and order the physical Wise card. No ATM fees in most cases and you can instantly transfer money via your phone.
Neither, just use revoult or wise or Instarem multi currency account, or simply pay using credit card.
some things are cash only😀
The best is to use a credit card. Or online payment systems gpay, apple pay as mentioned above. If you need cash, then I have found money exchanger in China Town (in any city to give the best rate). In general, it is best to take it from here.
Yeah I don’t have that much time
Not card, US dollar to Euro
