Buy used or new car?
A few years ago, I would just buy used and save money but now things different now. Auto assist and safety features are rapidly improving. So does the interface to the car. If you are buying a car should you get new?
New cars have amazing features It really depends on your budget, tech in automotive industry isnt going to stop.
You should only get a new car if you're planning on running it till it completely dies, or if you don't care about getting hit with the depreciation the moment you drive it off the lot. Getting a CPO would be better because you'd still get a warranty, a fairly newer vehicle with the desired features, and depending on the car, you won't have to deal with part of the depreciation.
Depends on the brand of CPO. Some have long warranties and some don’t. On all vehicles, the manufacturer warranty is transferable so if you buy used with low mileage and it has a long powertrain warranty left, then you get the the same peace of mind without spending the extra money that comes with buying CPO vs. regular used. Also, on most Japanese and Korean cars you don’t really even need the extra warranty because nothing ever really goes wrong in almost all cases before 100k miles and sometimes long after that.
If you buy new you get the latest and greatest but you pay extra for it and you’ll look around in 2-3 years and what was once the latest and greatest will be a little outdated again. If you buy used it’s not the latest and greatest, but it can still be pretty decent and you spend less. It really depends on what you personally want out of a car and financially.

I bought used for cash. Avoided monthly payments that way. I didn't really want any bells and whistles. I feel like I could get some of those things installed if they were important to me.
