i am learning concurrent programming should i get a threadripper and 256 gb g skillz ram?

Why not just rent out some cloud power? I donβt see why youβd want to invest in 3.5k hardware just to learn something. Imagine trying to resell it. You can get a decent amount of cores on EC2.
