I have interest in snap but after the significant stock price drop today, will it continue hiring? Can any snap employee shed some light? PS: I know some of you will ask "why snap?" I am unemployed and snap is one of very few companies that are still hiring, so working for snap is much better than jobless. #snap
10% drop is nothing for Snap. Have you seen previous drops?
Snap usually moves 20%+. That said I don’t see a path to recovery here anytime soon. But if you need a job it pays well and can’t go much lower than $5-8 like it has historically. You’d be getting in at an ok price.
Snap employees are busy interviewing outside
Snap employee here. I'm not sure what orgs are hiring, but the drop in stock price today wasn't really too big. At least I was ready for it to be bigger. So whoever was hiring before the earnings call should still be hiring afterwards.
Thank you for the insight!
