I had recently joined Credit Suisse -Strats role just before October’22 turmoil . Now I am wondering if I should wait and watch for things to unfold or preemptively start the interview process again ? Are finance/ fin tech firms hiring in this environment into risk/ quant domain ? Any insights would be helpful. 03/19 Edit - after all that got played out Saturday evening, I think I should go ahead with the interview process . Anxiety continues !!!!
If you’re in the investment bank it might be good to get your resume updated this weekend
Yeah on it . Anxious days ahead 😒

Wait it out. If you are good there will always be a job for you. Jumping ship too early in your career is not best advice.
Depends on the type of ship. Some ships can help elevate careers while some can make it stagnant
Erm, not sure - nobody who has Lehman in their CVs as of 2008 is jobless now. Maybe their top management but I would be surprised even for them.
