I’m a CW at Meta through HCL. I heard that contractors can work up to two years. So wanted to know that does it apply for individual contractors only or it applies for CWs which are working through some vendor? I have seen some CWs in my team hired through HCL working their since 2018 while most of other CWs were hired within last two years and deactivated accounts also show approximately 2 years of time so I’m confused whether it applies for contractor working through vendors or not.
I am a vendor CW and I've been told there's no limit to contract extensions. So I think you have it backwards - non vendor CWs are limited to two years. You should ask your contract manager for clarification.
