Does it make sense to move back to India for Indian techs in the US without a Greencard?
Curious if people think everyone at the same company with the same title & level, with roughly the same responsibilities should be paid the same?
Yes and no. Kind of a loaded question. Despite ppl trying to ignore it there are biases in hiring, from race to gender to age etc. Many women and POC still aren’t comfortable negotiating, despite having the skill. Not here to argue whose “fault” that is, it’s just a reality. Some other companies dont like hiring older ppl because simply because they know they’ll have to pay, etc. So. At least ppl will be more aware of where they’re at in the scheme of things instead of being completely clueless.
“Should”? Yes.

Y’all expected that the gov would do something properly for once?! A shitty level.fyi 😂
“The pay range is from $60,000-$600,000, depending on interview performance.”
So do they have to list RSUs?
Base salary range expected to pay for that role.
they will just list the base salary which is nothing
That's a very tech-centric view. Most companies don't offer equity. Seeing salary ranges will be a big deal for everyone else
Ah yes my actual monthly paycheck is nothing
