This already exists in USA, not directly through official Freddie Mac or Fannie Mae but through smaller third parties (who sell it back to Freddie Mac). Just because it says “interest free” it doesn’t mean you just pay the price of the house over time and that’s it. It’s more of a rent to own type of scheme.
