Hi, I interviewed for both Google and Amazon. For Google I made it to onsite but they flew me to a country where they speak very poor English. Plus my language preference was Java and some people there had never used Java, hence asking questions and not believing my answers, then googling the answer in front of me during 45min interview. I have complained this to recruiter he said sorry and wanted me to have another onsite interview at another office which I didn't bother to go because I know that the new office employees would have even worse English skills. So i declined and he said i can try next year. For Amazon i only had a very simple phone screening but i was in Asia the interviewer was in Texas and it was 3 am for me. The phone quality was terrible that i had to double(or even triple) confirm every sentence. The question was super easy. Anyway I couldn't pass the phone screening. Now i am moving to US. My question is can I retry interviewing at Amazon and Google given this is my circumstance. I really believe having interview in the US would make it a lot easier for me.
