Find someone who will let you use their address for mail. Being a roommate also qualifies you. Alternatively look into penfed. No need for military affiliation but they operate Almost as well as USAA with the competitiveness of navy fed.

That's why I said penfed. They tend to be comparable. I have all three. Nfcu, USAA and penfed.
You can do it yourself. But need a service sponsor. Parent or grand parent.
