Among other things, can feeling entitled to things (then not working hard or feeling demotivated and hence not getting results) also cause depression ?
Please don't run for President
You should watch Jordan Peterson, shows you how men grew up needing and taught we need this more than women. If your a women, it might still help since is lectures can be applied to anyone
That guy is a dumb conservative men’s rights proponent masquerading as an intellectual. His popularity speaks to the idiocy of the masses.
Jordan Peterson? I personally don’t enjoy listening to him, but you are heavily biased if you don’t think he’s intelligent.
Word definition matters here, but I’ve always believed unhappiness is when expectations don’t match reality. So, yes.
I think depression is different than unhappiness. I heard the best way to describe depression is indifference.
I’ve always found people who are depressed are unhappy for a long period of time.
Possibly. If you think you are entitled to something and you don’t receive it, you could feel depressed unless you do something to fix it. This could in fact be one of the root causes of depression.
That's an interesting question. Pretty reflective. I am not a counselor but I would say yes that can happen if a person genuinely thinks that they are going to get something or are entitled to something then they don't get it , I would think that at the very least there is disappointment but I would think that it would depend upon how much said person has had to handle disappointments.
