Because these private schools all get major public funding. I don't think it's effective in private companies.
That happened decades ago. Hiring on the basis is of a protected classification is generally prohibited. Higher education was the exception.
Huh? Diversity hiring is legal and routinely practiced by all major companies though
It isn't legal, it just hasn't been challenged because you have to go up against Blackrock who is mandating it via ESG scores
