Can u be mediocre and still get a job at google
I just want to pump up my resume and have a nice sounding google job on my resume for few years and then use that to get a nicer job at a basic btch company and move up Help me fam, what are some product manager/strategy jobs at google that are achievable for low effort people. I’m capable of studying and prepping for an interview, I just don’t have the years of experience and education y’all have This ain’t a troll I’m serious

Of course you can. Google is huge so people slip through all the time. I would say they have a lot of average people and they have a lot of people with mediocre vision.
I suppose the definition of mediocre, within Google is a median performing employee. So half of Google employees are mediocre or less within the population of Google employees. Within overall tier A tech companies, probably 40% of Google employees are mediocre or worse (assuming Google employees, on average, are slightly better than peers in tier A companies). Within the larger tech world, I'd hazard a guess that 10% of Google employees could be considered mediocre.
I used to think the world of Google until i found a few of my classmates work there. They're complete clowns, so it's possible but the prestige isn't as high as you think.
