Meta stocks has almost tripled in the past few months. If they were given stocks based on the undervalued valuation, then employees are all swimming in cash right now.
What if they fire before 1 year completion
What if they don’t? Are employees more likely to get fired than not?
At meta you get stock on your first quarter. No 1 year completion needed
Still poor…
Never satisfied
FAANG makes you forever hungry
Some of us are just breaking even (late 2021 hires).
Came here to say this 😢
Depends on when they got in right? Or was refresher from a few months ago common
Can we talk about how this same post is made multiple times everyday and Meta is down from a year and a half ago?
Seriously. "If you buy a stock at the perfect time, you will make a lot of money." Yup, I should have bought Amazon in 1995. This is not news...
Bottom was 88 when laid off happened, none was hired during that time.
Maybe like a handful of people at the upper levels. Now, those people have mad gains and started with a mad base
OP is not talking about new hires. He is talking about existing employees getting refreshes at those rates. That grant should have trippled.
ya but people who joined meta during layoffs have balls of steel. They took a risk and it worked out.
Which is how investing works. The high risk high reward, low risk low reward equation never changes
Agreed
I had an offer last year. Stock has roughly doubled since then. Still ecstatic I chose MS instead. I'm all likelihood, being the new guy would have resulted in me being laid off. Doesn't matter how good the gains are if you never get them. And even if I had stayed, it would still be a crazy stressful environment. #NotWorth
Why ecstatic over Microsoft? Do you think Meta is likely better now than before?
Because I've gotten good gains at MS and had no stress about layoffs
The refresher growth is where the big money is.

That’s a big if
Why would they not have been?
They laid off a lot of new hires specifically
