I use Google Docs to take notes on things I’m learning at work as well as during my personal time, so I’m logged into my google account on the work laptop. I wonder if IT or whoever is monitoring our activity has the ability to open my Docs and read them. While there’s nothing there that can get me in trouble, I am uncomfortable with someone potentially accessing my personal Docs. Please ELI5. Should I log out of Google and stop using it on my work laptop if I’m this paranoid?
Thy would only get into your Google docs if thy access your laptop remotely withiin network.. that also you will come to know about it.. i am always on my google fb account logged in on my work laptop. When I lock my windows no1 can access it except me.. not even IT .. even if they use admin access they won't be able to see your Google docs as each login has different cookies
They don’t need to. They could record your key presses and constantly looking for key words that they are interested in.
