I wonder why teams dont accurately assess their team budget and needs BEFORE putting a candidate through an entire interview process. Capital One reached to me saying they liked me but unfortunately weren’t filling the position anymore due to changing business needs.

Happens everywhere - even google. How many blind threads do we see where people pass HC and can’t get through TM.
I passed all interviews but been waiting for next steps for 2+ weeks. I guess it works like drafting for athletes where hiring managers pick candidates to their teams. If no hiring managers picks you, you are out even if you passed all interviews?

Yeah got the offer but the background check takes long and still waiting. The last hiring manager round is easy. They just wants you to like the team. That’s it.
