Have a power day at C1 for a "Senior Data Engineer" but recruiter said this is considered "Principal Associate" and after that is "Manager" > "Senior Manager" if going down manager track. Is this correct? Also I heard RSUs are given at a certain level. How many RSUs do you get at which level and what is the vesting period? C1 is last on my list and even might be worse than current company, so I just want to know what its potential is if any. Mostly using it for practice #capitalone
RSU from Capone ? Never heard of it! what’s your YOE ? <5 senior data engineer/principal associate is fair. For 6-10 YOE could be mgr/sr.mgr leveling on IC track
No RSU but there will be ESPP which allows you to buy with 15% discount (from what I remember). My power day was really bad. On the coding round, the guy didn't even read through the question beforehand and gave me incorrect info. With other rounds, instead of pasting the questions to chat, they read a very long questions (over 1-2 minute) like a robot. Behavioral round was even worse. The interviewer is a DBA and has no idea about any technical backend stuff on my examples, so nothing to follow up...

Why are you not getting the job you want?
Keep in mind that their titles are insanely inflated - I'd ignore them and pay attention to TC. You can ask your recruiter about what positions are getting initial/annual RSU grants (I don't think Sr Mgr does but it's been a while since I talked to them).
yeah "principal" is a bs title but more interested in when RSUs kick in
