I was given a verbal offer from capital one for a senior SWE role. How long does this team matching process typically take? TC: 🥜

Depending on how many teams you talk to. Once a match occurs, probably 24-48 hours for negotiation and all should be set.
Only talked to one so far but doesn’t look like that will result in an offer. Should I continue to reach out to my recruiter?
You should. He should proactively line up team matching meetings for you though. Did you hear the unofficial words after your meeting with the hiring manager?
Team matching is slow, one team at a time and you have to say yes or no.
It can be very quick, or take weeks. Managers take turns one at a time to see if there is a fit.
Now a days it might even be slower as there are mid year reviews happening

Do they do H1B transfer? Recruiter told me that they don’t do h1 transfer
Last I heard no h1b at all. I think that’s still the policy.
Original req I was hired for closed and then it took me 2 months to find a new team. Only did 3 job fit interviews that whole time
Thx for the reply. Did you have to continually reach out to your recruiter for updates or did they contact you periodically? I’ve contacted mine with pretty minimal responses at this point now
Luckily mine was pretty responsive and checked in every week or 2. Might be worth calling if you have their number instead of just emailing
I'm in the same boat as you and they're definitely very staunch about their one team at a time rule. My recruiter told me that my profile was being looked at by a HM for almost a week now and in the meantime I had another recruiter reach out to me about my profile. But when the second recruiter found out about the first one, they also wouldn't do anything until the first one says yes/no. I tried asking politely if I could get reviewed at the same time by expressing interest in the company & saying i had other interviews in the pipeline but no luck
