I have an opportunity to move from SAP consulting to a technical product manager role with business AI. I wanted to get out of the ABAP stack coz I feel like it’s not very transferable skill if I wanted to go beyond SAP technology. However not sure a TPM is a valuable role either, even though I get to work with Python and data science frameworks. Is it a wise switch financially and career growth wise? TC:110 Yeo:6
Being a Project Manager, how are going to work on Python and Data Science frameworks? Your team might work but you will mostly be managing team and technical stories only, isn’t it?
TPM is not a real job
Since I joined blind it’s starting to seem like nothing is a real job except software engineering 🤷♂️
