Career change from a non coding position to coding difficult within an org diffucult?
Hi all, I am currently working as a security analyst in minnesota. Will be moving to seattle and joining the SAP team doing incident response. I am seriously considering relearning how to code from square 1. How hard is it usually to make an internal team change from a non coding position to coding, ie SWE? Current TC 95k. #sap

Internal team transfers will give you a slight advantage. Assuming that you pass, you will most likely get thrown in with all the fresh college grads as a junior engineer.
At Amazon, I have seen a lot of Support engineers transferring to SDE1
