Edit: I would really love some actual insights into the two career paths and which has better opportunities now and later. I graduate in a month and have a big career decision to make. 1 - After doing well during my internship last summer. I accepted a full time offer to start as a TPM at Mastercard in technology strategy and transformation team. This will start in August. TC: 130 but not all base 2- throughout college I have worked as an AM at Microsoft for a 1.5 years then got laid-off. I have been working at an AI startup for 6 months as an Enterprise SDR (settled with SDR to pay the rent). They have an Enterprise Sales Engineer Role open that I am confident I can get. TC: 130K base + variable not known yet I am really good at both and SE is more money now but not sure how the career progression is for that role.
I’m confused, I thought you already accepted an offer?
accepted the offer last August. Just like a company can take back an offer a candidate can.
You CAN but that certainly doesn’t mean you SHOULD. Obviously, it comes off as unprofessional and you’re going to ruin the relationships you’ve built so far. Also, since you’re still in college, you may lose access to your Career Center by reneging, which can be quite valuable even well after you graduate. This is not something that should be taken lightly.
Since you're early in your career, get your feet wet at Mastercard. Less risk than joining a startup. You can join a startup anytime in the future.
Don't become a TPM, your communication skills suck man, what are those bullet points?

Do people underestimate E6 role at meta?
Your question is based on your assumption that you will get the SE job at startup. Don’t make that assumption.
Assume I do, I have the Mastercard offer as a definite plan. The questions is to see if it is worth going for. As If I do go for it, get it, then leave a month later I will ruin my relationship with the current team. I am already in talks about the role as I have a great relationship with the head of sales and head of recruiting.
As I said, you are putting the cart before the horse. First get the job offer from startup and then ask which one is better.
