How does career growth look like at Google? From new grad to T4 to T5 and beyond (25%, median, 75%)? Also how does compensation growth look like in the process?
Can you clarify the question? 25% of what??
Lower 25%, 50%, 75% of the engineer's career growth
You didn't clarify anything
Numbers?
Very roughly speaking, going up two levels will double your total comp. Time to do that is hugely variable. Many people get stuck at T4 or T5 (especially the latter).
What would you say is the median time taken for a new grad T3 to make if to T4? And what's considered "really fast!!"? Same question on T4 (newly promoted from T3, not industry hires) to T5.
Also very interested in above question!
