Career opportunity after 2 YOE(Before MS) + MS
I am a 2022 CS graduate from Tier 1 college in India. I am planning to go for MS in 2024 in USA. People in India generally gets promoted to SDE 2 after 2 YOE. Till 2024 I will already have 2 YOE. Now will I get SDE 2 position in USA? Will my YOE be considered when applying for a job in USA after MS? Also, is the MS worth it because it is a huge cost doing it? My plan is to work in USA atleast for 5 years.Or is it preferable to go to USA by internal transfer (L1 visa)?
MS is not worth it. You lose 2 years and restart your career. I would say it sets you back by almost 5 years. Come on L1.
So will they not consider my prev work experience after MS?
Companies treat you as fresh grads. You can only hope to get faster promotion initially

It depends on your luck. You can easily earn 2x of Indian salary here(even if you make top 1 percentile there). But H1B and lottery is mostly luck based
