Learn what you want to learn, improve what you want to improve. If you want to learn/practice ds&a, just solve leetcode problems, if you want to learn distributed systems, try to read books and implement consensus algorithms. That’s it.

In the world of showoff and self promotion on LinkedIn. It’s good to have cert. I see many non deserving and one who don’t have any practical knowledge on cloud are right now cloud architects.🫣
Agree, have seen people with no degree in CS and a “certificate of cybersecurity” popping up at Google.
I mean i feel like they make you look passionate about your craft and are great talking points in an interview if you got a project or take away you can pin it too. But as far as getting a jobs go i don’t think they are a deciding factor.
