TC: 🥜 … it’s FedEx My current tech stack is Angular, Java (Spring Boot), ms sql. A lot of the companies I’m interested are using some combination of React, NodeJs, MongoDB, Python, etc… Assuming I actually learn the tech that I don’t use at my current job to a point where I’m proficient in it, is it smart to have a few resumes that have the experience changed to tech X,Y,Z so it’s matches better? Any downsides to this (mostly React)? #engineering #software #swe #resume
I have noticed that when I change the resume to fit the position, *shockingly* I get more interviews haha I worked with an old hiring manager that once said "dont lie, just... embellish... your resume"

Really? I assume not having the correct proper nouns will get you filtered out of screeners and recruiters who just scan. No?
Unless its for a hyper specific technology companies understand that once you know 1 tech stack you can quickly learn another. I've never had an issue getting interviews from cold applying without specific tech stack exp
