Do you know who provides the cheapest insurance in bay area. Our record is pretty clean other than a couple of speeding tickets 2 years ago. Please give recommendations.
with 2 tickets auto insurance for 2 will cost around 2x monthly rent of decent apartment - about 5-6k per year that is
Are you kidding!!
No, thatâs too much. Depends on the car, your age, driving history, year and model of car, etc.
Metromile , geico
Iâm pretty happy with Farmers. I was with AAA before.
Yeah, this is pretty oversimplified and is kind of the entire point of actuarial science, which is something each insurer does independently. That's why Allstate is cheaper for my brother, but Geico is cheaper for my sister, Progressive is cheaper for my parents, etc. Vastly different risk levels in each driver according to their age, driving record, vehicle replacement cost, coverage levels... Tooooooo many variables and each insurer weighs these variables differently. What you want to do is find the one that weighs your highest-risk variables the lowest...which you can't do just by asking. If you want cheap insurance, buy a cheap car with cash and don't pay for comprehensive coverage. Pretty much anyone will be cheap if you do it that way. Only other advice I have is to be special in some way that qualifies you for special insurance. Example: Veterans can get car insurance from USAA, which is arguably the best insurer around.
I pay 1400/ 6 months for 4 vehicles and 3 drivers
This number makes more sense...
Whats your insurance company?
Just changed my insurance.. I got 792$/6months. 2 cars and 2 drivers.
Nice which insurance
Progressive
The range of coverage within auto insurance is vast. When you shop around, make sure to compare apples to apples. Keep in mind you live in and area with expensive vehicles, so don't cheap out of good liability coverage.
Other than a couple of speeding tickets đ
That was 2 to 3 years ago
Doesnât matter, they stick around for 5 years
