Cheap H1B from India or Cheap products from China
What should people of Indian and Chinese origin here in USA should do to fight against stereotypes ( which are true) about cheap Indian H1Bs or cheap Chinese import. Should high paid Indian H1Bs from Bay Area boycott body shopping agency like infosys, cognizant, Tata and few more. Should they educate Indian government that cheaper is not always good thing. Should Chinese Americans point out/shame gross violations of copyright and labor laws in China. Shouldn’t they want to known for best in business rather than cheapest in business. I know both countries has large population and that may be root of all the problems. At least China is doing something about it.
They are paid 60-70k but infosys, tcs, etc probably make extra 150k on each resource. They are not cheap at all
Agreed. My manager once complained about how expensive contractors are nowdays. They were from TCS
that is why Trump government is making H1B difficult for agencies like infosys. Correct?
I totally disagree with the term "CHEAP" H1b is there because US doesnt have enough of smart technical people amd the reason why H1b is there to help US be on top in Technology world. On the other hand, i am always against cheap product coming from china. I think they can definitely improve
You should get out from Silicon Valley bubble. People work for 60 to 70k on h1b which is very very cheap.
You clearly have no idea what goes inside h1b consultancy if you think 60-70k is the only cost the company is paying. No doubt it’s cheaper but not CHEAP! Also most of it because of lack of science/cs talent in house.
