I have a job offer in Bay Area and wondering how’s the opportunity for chemical engineering for my wife who currently working as process engineer here in Houston. Any insights is greatly appreciated.
Leetcode.
Some biotech firms out here. Process engineer in which particular aspect?
Currently Oil and gas
Off the top of my head, Chevron, Tesla and semiconductor process equipment companies like LAM and AMAT seem like some of the companies in the Bay Area that would hire chemical engineers.
Not a lot of cheme unless you go out to the east bay with Dow. There are a few refineries in Martinez. But if you are in the peninsula it is mostly bio or process engineering.
