Wife is product manager at a financial services firm and makes 250k (company is on the east coast and we’re in the Bay Area). She’s tired of the company and early AM calls - wants to move to a Bay Area company. What’s a good company that is chill and pays well here? Typical 9-5 job, low stress and say 250-300k all in comp. Any suggestions?
Move to Visa Austin Texas
Most teams at Visa in FC are pretty chill. Pay isn't that great though

I'm trying hard not to be snarky; but if it were easy to find a 250-300K job at a "good" and "chill" company with low stress and only works 9-5 and doesn't require relocating and (based on the fact that you're asking strangers on blind) doesn't require any kind of network or industry contacts and (assuming I'm reading your post correctly that she's willing to switch industries) doesn't require any domain knowledge and (I'm assuming since you didn't mention any technical skills or expertise in any particular specialty) is non-technical and doesn't require any specific hard-to-find skill-set...well, if finding that job was easy, then everybody would do it, no? I mean, you're describing a dream job that lots of people would kill to have. There's lots of jobs with "pays 250-300K" or "low stress" or "9-5 hours" or "good company" or "non-technical" and you can trade-off whichever is most important to you, but are you really expecting a job with *all* of those? I don't live in the Bay Area; but are there really a lot of jobs like that going unfilled?
She can look at direct competitors to her current firm located in BA and go for a senior IC role. TC may not be exactly the same but could be close.
