China decided to ban Micron memories. What does it mean for Micron business? Are they going to get their memory from SKHynix, or Samsung? Is there any Chinese memory maker?
China has its own memory manufacturers like YMTC, also they can buy from Korean manufacturers, which has the biggest market share anyway. But seriously, why would people think China will never retaliate, when US has been sabotaging Chinese companies since trump era. Expect more US business getting kicked out of China market.
Let's not pretend that the US started this.
Ah, yes, it is started by US. All started by Trump’s trade war. Lets not pretend that that never happened.

YMTC is their homegrown memory manufacturer.
Cool. Good to know. Does it have any product yet?
Not totally sure. I used to work in one of the legacy memory companies before and back then I remember that YMTC was gaining a lot of momentum. They even have a site in the Bay Area where they poached a lot of people from the memory industry. I don’t know if they have a stable production to supply the Chinese demand though.
