Cisco - Offer Negotiation
Just got a recent offer from Cisco (BU is Duo Security): G8 - 155k + 15k RSU/year + 15k sign on. Remote in Midwest Looking to negotiate with them next week with another offer I have at 180k ish TC. From looking at levels I may be in the highest band for G8. Are they likely to budge on their offer? Is it even remotely possible I could negotiate to G10? Current TC: 170k YOE: 5 #cisco
Can you elaborate what G8/G10 means?
G8 is SDE3 G10 is Senior SDE
Not much to add here, since I haven't gotten to this point in the hiring process yet. But my research would point to this being a pretty strong offer for a G8. Did you have any luck getting it improved? I've got my final interview in a few days. Hoping to get a g10 offer with my 7.5 YOE, but we shall see. If I do get an offer I can post here to update, if that might help at all.
Yeah I was able to get it bumped to 90k RSU so about 22.5k each year (~7.5k) bump and sign on to 25k. Good luck! Which BU you applying for?
Wow that's nice. That seems really strong for that level. Guessing you used competing offers? I'm also applying for Duo. The process has gone pretty well so far and only one more behavioral to go, so we shall see π€
Why would you take a tc decrease?
WLB & team Iβd be working on is better at Cisco. If they matched the TC I would take their offer
