Received a Grade10 offer for a SWE role. Recruiter mentioned 2 different bonuses 1- 15% depends on company/team/my performance 2- Individual performance Could you share (or dm if you don't feel comfortable) what did you get for above bonuses in last couple of years? Even though I really like the team, the offer I received is slightly better than what I'm currently making and I'm not really comfortable accepting this offer. So I want to believe I can get something from these two bonuses :/ Offer TC: $220k #cisco #ciscobonus #ciscosalary #ciscocareers
Bonus amount * CPF * IPF Example, bonus amount = 100, ipf = 1.4, CPF = 1.1 You get 100*1.4*1.1 My ipf for the past few years - 1.8, 1.9, 1.3, 1.4 CPF is mostly around 1. During pandemic year it was slightly less then 1 but mostly it's around that
What is the bonus amount in your example? Is it base salary * bonus percentage (15% in my case)? Recruiter explained this to me like I'll be getting 2 different bonuses, but looks like it is two different multipliers - company/team performance (CPF?), and my individual performance (IPF?) and 1 bonus payment. Did I get it right?
So the bonus payments will be made twice a year. Mid year you will get half of target bonus. End of the year you will get the remaining based on ipf and cpf
What was the base pay for this role ?
Grade 10 220k. This is not great. Please keep looking even if you accept.
Yeah I sadly agree. It was almost same as my competing offer for a remote role, and it was a lot less than what I shared as expected salary. They didn't want to negotiate and said it's final numbers so I rejected 🤷♂️ So honestly this question is no longer relevant 😄But I'll keep it for future visitors.
So you rejected Cisco? Best decision ever.
You get a target bonus figure which is a percentage of salary. It is then multiplied by tenure, corporate performance, individual performance. Tenure being how much of the year you were employed. Some years an advance payment, say half, is paid earlier in the year.
When is this year's bonus getting paid?
It's always September.
