Cisco internal transfer
Does Cisco have any salary increase limit for internal transfers? Can you ask for twice your current compensation? TC: π₯
You can ask for hike and you will get it..but it wont be 100%
Good luck! They know you donβt have any leverage on internal transfers. The bump is generally small compared to hopping to another company. Even if you move to the next grade level, you wonβt double your TC, and the possibility of moving up multiple grade levels is 0.000000001% (but hey, itβs still a chance).
In Cisco, you can only move up one salary grade at a time and they try to move you to MRR one or low in MRR two. So doubling your salary is never going to happen. If you want that, you will need to leave Cisco and go to another company that has to pay double because the culture and work demands suck so badβ¦. You choose
You can ask whatever you want , but you won't get it You will get only as per band. I asked more than 100% hike for internal transfer cause i had an outside offer in hand and they revoked their decision to take me :)
