Where’s Oracle on that list?

I left Cisco after 12.5 years to come to AWS. Have been here over 3 years and had my best W2s at AWS. It was good to leave and learn a new company and space. If i were you i'd interview around and see what kind of offers you can get...I personally don't want to work at Salesforce because of the stories i've heard, but AWS has been moving in a much more traditional enterprise software sales company direction that i'm not thrilled with. not particularly excited about GCP but if i got a good offer have heard enough decent things to seriously consider.

Thank you for the thoughtful and detailed response. What is it about AWS’s direction that bothers you? I’ve heard great and terrible things about salesforce. The friends I have there covering enterprise accounts are happy and crushing their numbers.

When i joined there were fewer teams, so fewer cooks in the kitchen and much less redundant reporting/forecasting. Lots more operational 'hygiene' activities and more of a focus on forecasting, even though there are fewer ways for us to have short-term impact on our customers' revenue. More overlays, inspection, etc. Lots of stuff you're currently dealing with at Cisco, no doubt! Bottom line...it felt like someplace different and special when I joined, but is more like a machine now. As for salesforce, most of the stories i've heard make it seem like quite the grind, and a bit of a cutthroat dog-eat-dog type sales culture.
