Hi all, I'm considering moving from Cisco to Cloudflare. I'm halfway through the interview process and only have a couple interviews left with the global leadership team. Cloudflare reached out to me first for an AE role (non-US based) and thought it would be an interesting company to join since I've started to consider moving to cloud-native companies that are rapidly growing. (whereas Cisco is a hardware-based company and already a giant) What's your opinion on this transition? Is there anyone who recently moved from Cisco to Cloudflare? How's the experience so far? (I haven't shared with them my salary expectation but instead asked for their salary range, which they haven't answered yet - is this a red flag...) YOE 3yrs #cisco #cloudflare #sales
The lack of comp transparency is concerning. I'd follow up with the recruiter and prob tell them the numbers you need to move. Cloudflare isn't going to offer you a higher number than you want/expect so probably better if you anchor the negotiation with your numbers first.
Right, they answered me saying there's gonna be a reasonable increase which sounds vary vague to me. Guess I should be the one who comes up with the number first...
Is cloudflare fully remote in the sales org?
