Modi is a legend, will be remembered for centuries to come
Citadel needs to switch from third party headhunters to internal recruiters solely to cut down on the amount of fucking spam their headhunters send out on LinkedIn. I get at least 5, sometimes 10 or more headhunters a week trying to get me apply to citadel. Sometimes they even send these sad follow up emails asking if I'm ignoring them or why I'm not interested in Citadel. The thing is, I would maybe consider interviewing there if it didn't seem they were working with incompetent headhunters or so desperate for my attention. But as is, it's really annoying and gives me a bad impression of the company. #citadel #headhunters #linkedkin
Send them my way please
Incompetent headhunter? Lol I got these all the time, not just citadel. If you're not interested, just ignore them, what's the big deal? They are trying to make a living too.
That's what external recruiters do for all companies. They send out template message/follow-ups to every living being on LinkedIn. It's equivalent to males swiping right to every female on Tinder but do additional filtering at the match stage, because it doesn't make sense to spend time filtering candidates before the contact stage given that most ppl don't even log into LinkedIn when not job hunting. Don't take it too personally.
they spam my inmail almost as much as you spam Blind on posts about citadel
Yeah dont take it personally, bots are pretty efficient. They could have spammed u one every min if they adjust the parameter. Btw why are u logging into LinkedIn? Not happy at Google?
The few I have come across threatened 1mil TC for citadel securities. Not sure if that is made up or what.
If it’s not an internal recruiter then made up. A lot of external recruiters in quant finance do this. Promise sky high TC to candidates and then when offer is made, the TC turns out to be nowhere near the numbers the recruiter said in the beginning. There are some good ones though. Mostly from recruitment firms that specialize in quant finance.
I'd love to be threatened by 1 million dollars
