Citi Bonus
Citi VP's, what was the average bonus you received? I'm expecting an offer with 20% bonus but want to see what the payout looks like this year. Any inputs appreciated, want to see if they give target bonus, exceed it or pay less than that.
What's the role / title? Bonuses vary quite a bit between groups. If you aren't told, you should stand firm and tell HR and your hiring manager that you can't accept any offer without getting a sense of what the target bonus range is. That's what I did.
Have it charted down in offer - if it is not in offer, it won’t happen. The wording should be that the bonus should be certain percentage or within specific range but it will always be conditional based on your and company performance.
I have communicated and hr as well mentioned that.. but there is no mention of bonus in offer letter… I have accepted the offer a month back… so does it mean I won’t get any bonus?
That’s what I was afraid of. Please talk to manager or whoever has given you estimate around bonus percentage to have expectations cleared.
