Citrix Senior security eng 2 comp
Talking to a recruiter for a senior security eng 2 role at citrix. What should be the expected comp for this role? This is in bay area. I can't find much info for this role in levels or blind. Is senior 2 in levels same as senior security eng band 2? I know citrix is in a bad spot right now but I still want to know the comp ranges for this role. #citrix TC 300k Yoe :10
Definitely not $300k. Citrix doesn’t pay that much to Senior Security Engineers.
What about staff?
Not at the entry level of staff position but you can try and negotiate based on the interviews
Good luck surpassing 300k for senior security engineering 2 at citrix. They’ll probably come in at 180-220k base, and max 200k stock vesting over years. And that would be extremely unlikely as it is. Imo you’re not a college grad, so you should really know your worth. The question isn’t what Citrix can pay, but what you want to get paid. Do you have that number in mind? A lowball market offer starts at 400k, assuming you’re good at what you do.
I know that I have authorized in product up to 220K and 60K RSU and a 20% bonus for sr principal product. But in this era for security you should command 350 and above TC
Not that sure abt security group band but mostly would be same as Dev senior sec 2. That would be around 150-200k base, 50-100k RSU(total 3 years vesting time) , + some 🥜 joinin bonus and relocation bonus.
Anyone can help with this from Citrix?
